Sasu - Rough Collie Portrait

Lovely to get the chance to paint such a gorgeous rough collie.  Pia Ananin kindly gave permission to use her excellent photographs for this commission. I was also lucky enough to meet beautiful Sasu in person as he visited my studio in Helsinki twice. It's not so often I get to meet the subjects of my painting, so it was such a treat that he could visit. He met our newly adopted female Galgo Tenshi and proved to be the perfect gentleman!
