Have you ever timed how long a greyhound will stop and silently observe something in the distance, often with one paw raised?
My current greyhound, a rescue from Spain, would spend most of time outside just standing and quietly observing, like a statue. I have learned to be patient, as he needs and enjoys this. He is a sighthound after all, and that is what sighthounds do.
